This female-fronted goth metal band is co-led by vocalist Anna Stefanowicz and her husband Maurycy, better known to fans of Polish death metal band Vader as their longtime guitarist Mauser. Don't be expecting any of the scorching death metal riffs he was known for within that band, though.

Unsun was formed in 2006 by me and Mauser. We are from Poland. Our actual line-up: Me as a singer -Aya- (Anna Stefanowicz), Mauser (Maurycy Stefanowicz) on the guitar, Gonzo (Wojtek Blaszkowski) and on the bass Patrick (Patryk Malinowski). The music of our band is like mix between darkness and light, day and night.

Aya, the bands lead singer, has a distinct, ditsy voice that would fit in the euro-pop scene and yet is used for a metal band. Their debut album, entitled The End of Life, was released in September 2008 by Century Media Records. Their second album Clinic for Dolls was released in 2010 via Mystic Production. Despite plans to enter the studio in 2015 to record the follow-up to Clinic for Dolls.
